Hi there funky friends! My name is Annie and I am an aspiring photographer and artist! I'm from a suburb of Chicago and currently attending the University of Dayton to study photography. As a kid, I spent almost every summer at my grandparent's house in California and I am happiest at the beach, under the sun, with the whole day to myself.

I consider myself a very nostalgic person and often find myself getting lost in different aspects of the 20th century, especially the 60s and 70s. That being said, I love shooting with color film, trying to replicate film digitally, and photographing people. I'm extremely inspired by directors such as Wes Anderson and Quentin Tarantino as well as photographers like Martin Parr, Olivia Bee, and William Eggleston.

On top of all that, I love collaging and bookmaking to present my paper treasures I accumulate. Along with collecting, I like to draw and watercolor. From photography to watercolors, I value the concept of process and how process can ignite the inspiration to create a work of art.
